Richard J. Kapsch has a remarkable career spanning four and a half decades in the securities and futures industries. His rich experience includes stints with leading U. S. securities firms such as E. F. Hutton, Shearson and Prudential-Bache Securities.
Mr. Kapsch was a member of the International Monetary Market, a division of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, for eleven years, and was elected to the Board of Governors of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he served in that illustrious capacity for six years.
While being a member of the aforementioned Board, he presided over the Foreign Currency Committee and was a member of both the Strategic Planning and Audit Committees. Mr. Kapsch is currently the Managing Director of Pride Holdings, LLC, a consultancy based in Schaumburg, Illinois, specializing in international finance. He was formerly President of Leader Investments, Inc., a brokerage firm based in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
He graduated from Yale University and completed his M. B. A. in Corporate Finance, from New York University. Mr. Kapsch's multifarious career also comprises teaching gigs for graduate-level courses at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, Keller Graduate School of Management and Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He is also a well-known speaker and has addressed many international seminars and has several magazine articles to his credit too.
